In today’s competitive environment, managing and controlling supply chain costs are critical operations. It takes complete visibility into the global supply chain network to understand the commitments and capabilities necessary for success.

Program Highlights

Fleming's unique Supply Chain Management - Global Logistics program will provide you with the diverse skills to successfully oversee, synchronize and manage every step in the process as goods flow from raw material suppliers to the final customer.

This is the only Supply Chain Management program in Ontario to offer an additional certificate as part of your studies. Earn the Canadian International Freight Forwarding Association (CIFFA) certificate, highly valued by employers, in addition to your Ontario College Post-graduate Certificate credential.

Examine and understand how effective and efficient logistics management contributes to the vitality of the economy and improves global competitiveness.

Apply your knowledge to contribute to the strategic planning and scheduling of material requirements, resource allocation and inventory for efficient production and fulfillment of customer orders and returns.

Learn hands-on from many experiential learning opportunities that can include community, humanitarian and industry applied research projects, trade-related speakers and international case study competitions.

Benefit from extensive global logistics coursework, including a comprehensive 60 -hour Customs Management course, not offered at other Ontario Colleges.

This program requires students to have a laptop with the following specifications:

  • Component Minimum Requirement Processor: 1 GHz processor with SSE2 support
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM
  • Hard disk: 3 GB available disk space
  • Display: 1280 x 800 screen resolution
  • Graphics: Graphics hardware acceleration requires a DirectX 10 graphics card
  • Operating system: Windows 7 SP1 to Windows 10, 32-bit or 64-bit OS only

Minimum Admission Requirements

Students applying to Supply Chain Management - Global Logistics must meet the following requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or Ontario College diploma in business, commerce or a related field.
  • Applicants who do not meet the requirements listed above who possess a combination of education and relevant experience may be considered on an individual basis.

OSSD with majority of courses at College (C ) or Open (O) unless otherwise stated.
Grade 12 C courses will be accepted where Gr 11 C course requirements are listed.
Where College level courses are listed, U and M courses will be accepted.
Two Gr 11 courses will be accepted in lieu of a Gr 12 course requirement.
