Fleming College Virtual Graduation

The Board of Governors invites you to virtually attend Fleming College’s 53rd Convocation Ceremony.

Congratulations to the Class of 2020 - you did it! We look forward to celebrating with you at Fleming College’s virtual Convocations on Thursday, June 25 and Friday, June 26. Gather your family and friends - virtually of course - and watch this exciting event together to celebrate your achievements. The ceremonies will continue to be available on this website if you are not able to watch at launch time.

Fleming College celebrates your achievements in an unprecedented year. Fleming certainly did not expect your last few months to end like this. Never has a graduating class been called to step into the future with more purpose and hope. Please save the date and time for your School’s upcoming ceremony.

Declaration that Acknowledges the Rights of Indigenous Peoples

Indigenous Student Services at Fleming College is pleased to once again offer graduating students an opportunity to sign a declaration that acknowledges the rights of Indigenous peoples.

The declaration states, “By signing, I am making a declaration to move forward in my professional and personal life as a person who acknowledges the rights of Indigenous peoples and will advocate for further respect towards First Nation, Métis and Inuit peoples within the territory that I choose to call home.”

In the past students who signed the declaration during convocation ceremonies were given a medicine wheel pin to wear on their gowns. The first year offered, graduating students at Sutherland and Frost campuses were given this opportunity, and nearly 900 students signed the declaration between the two campuses.

This year due to COVID-19 physical distancing restrictions, we are offering graduating students from Sutherland, Frost, Haliburton and Cobourg campuses an opportunity to virtually sign the declaration here. #FlemingGrad
