Tuition Fees

We will notify you by email when your Fee Notification is available for you to review on myCampus.flemingcollege.ca (our Student Portal). Fee Notifications are issued in early May for Fall start programs and approximately 8 weeks prior to the start of the term for Winter and Spring start programs.

Sign in to myCampus and select “Student Centre”. Scroll down to “Fee Notification/Account Info” and click on the fee notification icon.

Financial Aid

We’re here to help you with your financial options.

  • OSAP: We’ll help you navigate grants and loans. Apply for OSAP at least 10 weeks before the start of class.
  • Bursaries and Scholarships: $2 million available annually. Apply to all with one application through myCampus beginning on Day 10. Financial Aid will send a notification to your Fleming email account with details leading up to the application’s release.
  • Budgeting: Create a financial plan using our budget calculator.
  • On-campus Jobs: There are many part-time, on-campus jobs available to students. Earn money, develop essential skills, and add to your resume. Search for and apply to jobs online.

Other options:

Student Loans

These loans vary depending upon the student bank loan program. Interest payments on these loans begin immediately. We encourage you to be a smart shopper – review and compare programs offered by the various banks.

Scholarships or bursaries within your community

Check with your high school guidance office, your employer or your parents’ employers, community and professional associations and clubs, to explore what financial assistance is available.

Fee Payments

You can make a payment by credit card, debit Visa or debit Mastercard through myCampus Student Portal. Select “My Student Centre” and scroll down to “Make A Payment”, then follow the instructions. You can also pay through online banking. Your account number is your student number and the payee is Fleming College. Make sure to select Fleming College – Fees or Tuition (not residence fees) for your payment to be applied correctly.

Enrolment Letter – RESP Withdrawals

You can access your Confirmation of Enrolment Letter through your Student Centre by selecting “Confirmation of Enrolment” under the Student Self Service options.

If your financial institution requires additional information, please send their required forms by email to records@flemingcollege.ca.

Transfer Credits

If you have taken credits at Fleming College or other institutions, you may qualify for a transfer credit/exemption. To apply for Transfer Credits, you can find the Transfer Credit Request Form on your Student Centre by selecting “Transfer Credit Requests” in the Student Self Service options section and follow the steps there. You should apply for Transfer Credits as soon as possible and we encourage you to submit your requests at least 15 business days before the start of the term.

Explore the possibility of getting credit for your work/life experience through our Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) and FastPass.

Applying to a Highly Competitive Program?

Admission offers will begin to be issued on February 1. Applications received after this date will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. If your program is full (oversubscribed) by February 1, you will be notified by email in early February.

Applicants interested in highly competitive programs are encouraged to apply as early as possible to ensure full consideration. Once applications are received, a selection process will be conducted to determine which candidates will receive offers. For programs with high demand, admission offers typically begin to be issued in mid-March.

If you meet the admission requirements but do not receive an offer immediately, your application will be placed on a waitlist. We will also make every effort to consider you for alternate programs where space is available.

Residence

Our on-campus residence properties in Peterborough, Haliburton and Lindsay offer students the choice of same gender or mixed gender arrangements with the flexibility to both cook at home and buy food through a variety of campus food services available.

Step 3

CHECK YOUR STUDENT STATUS

Applying to a Highly Competitive Program?

We will begin issuing offers of admission on February 1st. If a program is determined to be oversubscribed by that date, we will notify you by email in early February. We will then undertake a selection process to determine eligibility for offers of admission. Offers to highly competitive programs are typically issued beginning in mid-March. Qualified applicants who do not receive an offer at that time will be placed on the waitlist and where possible, considered for alternate offers of admission.

Timetables, Transfer Credits, and Other Requirements

Find your timetable

Your timetable will be available before the start of class, once your tuition has been paid and all conditions on your offer have been lifted. You can check your schedule in myCampus.

Non-Academic Requirements

Your program may have non-academic requirements (NARs). You can check your requirements and deadlines as these may be due before the start of classes.

Books and Materials

Once you have your timetable, you can use the course codes to find out what books and materials you need for class. If your program is at Sutherland Campus in Peterborough or Frost Campus in Lindsay, you can order your books online. If your program is at the Haliburton Campus, requirements will be communicated by coordinators, through your Fleming College email address.

Transfer Credits

If you have taken credits at Fleming College or other institutions, you may qualify for a transfer credit/exemption. To apply for Transfer Credits, you can find the Transfer Credit Request Form on your Student Centre through your Student Portal by selecting “Transfer Credit Requests” in the Student Self Service options section and follow the steps there. You should apply for Transfer Credits as soon as possible and we encourage you to submit your requests at least 15 business days before the start of the term.
