Fleming College offers several programs that lead to rewarding careers for Workplace (E) Graduates.
If you have an OSSD with the majority of credits at the Workplace (e) level, including English you are eligible for entry into any of the programs listed below.
Programs for workplace graduates get students ready to enter the workforce and many lead to further program opportunities at Fleming.
Note:
- When Worplace (E) is the minimum course level for admission, (c) and (U/C) level courses are also accepted
- OLC 40 meets the English requirement
- Learning Support Services are available for all full time students at Fleming College, as required

Carpentry Techniques (formerly Construction Skills)2-semester Certificate. Peterborough Campus. Graduates from this program praise the variety of skills covered: carpentry/ framing techniques, electricity basics, welding, and blueprint reading. Graduates may receive credit towards Carpenter Apprentice. Outdoor Adventure Skills2-semester Certificate. Lindsay Campus. Outdoor enthusiasts are trained and certified for positions in the adventure tourism industry. Students can obtain several outdoor certifications, which would ordinarily require travel throughout Ontario, throughout the year. Welding and Fabrication Technician4-semester Diploma. Peterborough Campus. Gain hands-on experience in all major welding processes and metal cutting techniques. Learn to troubleshoot welding equipment, use a variety of destructive and non-destructive methods to test welds and gain advanced skills in fitting processes.
