Explore the breadth of the construction industry and develop a deeper knowledge of all the factors that impact the industry. While attention is paid to the economic influence of the industry, students increase their awareness of various stakeholders who are routinely involved in construction projects. An introduction to the 2010 National Model Construction Code, Ontario Building Code Act 2002, Ontario Building Code 2006 and related government regulations and policies is provided.
