Working at Heights Training and Refresher Training
Fleming College offers Chief Prevention Officer-approved certificates for Working at Heights as well as Working at Heights Refresher Training. This certification is mandated for all workers who potentially work at heights. Certificates are valid for three years from the date of successful completion. A refresher training certificate must be completed before the current certificate expires.
Training takes place indoors, in Fleming’s state-of-the-art Kawartha Trades and Technology Centre at the Sutherland Campus in Peterborough. Once you have successfully completed your training here, you will receive a temporary card. Your permanent card will be available to you virtually by creating an online account with the Ontario Client Management System.

This Chief Prevention Officer approved training program is mandated for all workers having the potential of working at heights. It focuses on safe work practices to eliminate injuries and accidents while working at heights. You will gain hazard awareness and fall protection training both in classroom theory and practical experience in a simulation lab.

Working at Heights Refresher Training - CPO Approved

Maintain your Working at Heights certification with this refresher course. As your Working at Heights training is only valid for three years from the date of successful completion of an approved program, a CPO-approved Working at Heights Refresher Training program must be completed within that time period to maintain your certification. Fleming College is a Chief Prevention Officer (CPO) approved training provider for Working at Heights training. In this CPO-approved refresher training you will receive updates on any legislation, regulatory and equipment changes and a practical reinforcement of the knowledge you gained in your previous Working at Heights training. Upon successful completion, you will receive your temporary card. Your permanent card will arrive in the mail.
