Continuing Education Withdrawal Guidelines

To withdraw from a course, a completed and signed Withdrawal Form must be submitted to Continuing Education.

Withdrawal Request Form

If you want to apply for a refund, you must complete and submit the ConEd Withdrawal Form. The Withdrawal Form must be filled in completely to ensure that the refund can be processed. You must submit your withdrawal request by the corresponding deadline to be eligible for a fee refund. The effective date of your withdrawal is the date the withdrawal form is submitted; you will receive an email to confirm once we have received your submission.

Any fees paid by Credit Card will be directly refunded to the same Credit Card. Cheques will be issued for fees paid via any other method and will be mailed to the address on your Student Account. If you have not received your refund within 6 weeks of submitting the form and receiving confirmation of receipt, please contact Student.Accounts@flemingcollege.ca.

  • Withdrawal requests received up to 14 days prior to the start of classes will receive a full refund of any fees paid, minus a $25 CAD administrative charge.
  • Withdrawal requests received within 13 days of the start of classes will not receive a refund.
  • You may transfer to another class in the same semester within 5 business days of the start of the original course.
  • Withdrawal requests received before the first day of classes will receive a full refund of any fees paid, minus a $25 CAD administrative charge.
  • Withdrawal requests received on or after the first day of classes will not receive a refund.
  • You may transfer to another class in the same semester within 5 business days of the start of the original course.
  • Withdrawal requests received within the first 10 days of class will receive a full refund of any fees paid, minus a $25 CAD administrative charge.
  • Withdrawal requests received after the first 10 days of class will not receive a refund.
  • Withdrawal requests received up to 24 hours prior to the start date of a course will receive a full refund minus a $25 CAD administrative charge.
  • Withdrawal requests received on or after the course start date will not receive a refund.
