Drive Your Career Forward: RV Systems Essentials Course for Women at Fleming College

Peterborough, ON (March 6, 2025)—As International Women’s Day approaches, Fleming College is spotlighting opportunities for women in skilled trades with an introductory RV Systems course running from March 24 to 27. This fast-tracked program is designed for women currently working in the industry or those looking to enter the growing RV and campground sector.

Offered in partnership with the RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) and the RV Technical Institute (RVTI), the course provides a basic overview of RV systems and inspections. Over four consecutive days, participants will receive hands-on training at Fleming’s state-of-the-art Skilled Trades Centre at Sutherland Campus in Peterborough, Ontario, gaining practical experience with real-world applications.

Participants will explore key areas of RV inspection and develop a working knowledge of the core RV systems. By the end of the course, participants will have the foundational skills needed to further their education through Fleming’s two-year Motor Power Technician program. This diploma program includes interdisciplinary training for aviation, marine, recreational vehicles, and small engine maintenance and repair.

RV Systems Essentials is an excellent opportunity for RV dealership employees looking to expand their product knowledge, women interested in skilled trades and seeking career opportunities in the RV industry, and aspiring RV technicians looking to build a strong technical foundation.

Fleming’s advanced classroom and shop facilities provide an immersive learning experience, ensuring participants gain practical skills that can be applied across the RV industry. With hands-on training from experienced professionals, participants will leave with a deeper understanding of RV systems, equipping them for success in various industry roles.
