Mixed Media - Encaustic & Cyanotype Prints

This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Cyanotype is a camera-less technique that involves laying objects or images on a paper coated solution before exposing to UV light creating stunning white and prussian blue images. This course will introduce integrating cyanotype prints with encaustic and mixed media. Cyanotype techniques will be taught as an integral part of the course as well as encaustic techniques. Students are encouraged but not required to bring existing cyanotypes prints.
