Acrylics & Collage - 2D & 3D Investigations

Explore the creative possibilities of collage through an in-depth investigation of both two and three-dimensional approaches. You will work with acrylic paint as a primary medium, including gel plate printing, to produce a wide range of experimental papers and textures. These materials will be combined with traditional collage techniques using found imagery to create layered, visually engaging compositions. The course encourages experimentation and personal expression while building technical skills. Daily discussions and critiques will address relevant art history, as well as key principles of colour, value, and composition, supporting you in developing a thoughtful and informed creative practice.
