Basic Life Support (BLS) Training

This Red Cross certified course provides healthcare professionals and first responders with the essential skills and knowledge required to recognize life-threatening emergencies and deliver high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Participants will learn how to respond effectively to cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, and choking incidents in adults, children, and infants. By the end of this training, participants will be able to Perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively, and Apply the principles of team dynamics during resuscitation, Recognize and manage airway obstruction and respiratory emergencies. Successful participants will receive a BLS certification valid for 1-yr. BLS certification is a pre-requisite for ACLS and PALS training.
