School of Business

We have something unique to offer students: a small school experience defined by intimate class sizes, and close ties to faculty and classmates, coupled with a wide variety of program options you would expect to find at larger institutions. Our diverse programs are built on a wide variety of experiential learning; from industry-sponsored applied projects and work placements, to international travel and exchange programs. You’ll graduate with the practical, real-world experience to get hired in today’s competitive job market.

In the classroom, students are exposed to the latest business, accounting and hospitality industry simulation software, as well as the Ivey School of Business case study method. This approach places you in the role of the decision-maker facing multiple business issues and management challenges.

Applied Projects

Designed To Be Intense - Like The Real World

Business students participate in an intensive final semester project for an industry partner that requires a broad range of applied and project management skills. This comprehensive experience can last anywhere from one semester to a full year. Teams provide innovative solutions for diverse organizations in a variety of sectors including small companies, international enterprises, not-for-profit and social service organizations.

Culinary Pathways

Full Food Experience

It's classic cooking and basic nutrition, on-trend sustainable culture and local food connections. It's what's new and now. Fleming's culinary programs give you all that with plenty of experience in real life settings. Applied learning is 70% of the focus in the Culinary Management program. Along with culinary skills, you'll gain business and essential life skills that will help you be successful in your culinary career.

Business and Marketing

The world is your classroom

Students can volunteer in Jamaica as part of an experiential learning opportunity. In addition to resort site visits, students also help out the local communities. This total travel experience enables students to better understand global tourism. Marketing students have the option to spend their entire final semester attending classes at the University of Turku in Finland.

Our agreement with the University of Ontario Institute of Technology allows students to complete a B.Comm. (Honours) degree and their Fleming Accounting diploma in just four years.
