Limerick Institute of Technology and Fleming College renew and expand relationship with newly signed articulation agreement
Peterborough ON – (October 2, 2019) – Students from Fleming College’s School of Trades and Technology, School of Business and School of Health and Wellness have the opportunity to study in Ireland under a new articulation agreement recently signed with Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT).
The two institutions expanded their relationship to provide degree completion opportunities for Fleming diplomas and advanced diplomas from 11 different programs including:
- Business
- Business – Human Resources
- Business Administration
- Business Administration – Marketing
- Construction Engineering Technician
- Culinary Management
- Fitness and Health Promotion
- Hospitality – Hotel and Restaurant Operations
- Recreation and Leisure Services
- Sporting Goods Business
- Tourism – Global Travel
The articulation agreement renews the Sporting Goods Business pathway originally signed in 2016.
“We are very pleased to continue our strong relationship with Limerick Institute of Technology and offer students the ability to work towards a university degree while gaining valuable international life experience,” said Fleming College President Maureen Adamson. “The combination of college and university education assists graduates with their career goals, and provides innovative education, research and real-world experience that prepares students for the evolving labour market.”
The articulation agreement builds on a memorandum of understanding signed between Fleming and LIT in 2016, and a student exchange agreement signed in 2018.
