This prestigious award is presented to an alumnus who attains outstanding career success and professional achievement.
Bullock is the newly-appointed president of The Burger’s Priest, a cheeseburger restaurant with 23 locations in Southern Ontario and two in Edmonton, Alberta. “Congratulations Ryan for receiving this prestigious award, you have made Fleming tremendously proud,” said Fleming College President Maureen Adamson. “Your success will inspire our current and future students. Thank you for showing us where a Fleming diploma can take you. We wish you continued success in your new role.”
Following graduation from Fleming in 2006, Bullock pursued his Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Trent University while also working part-time at an advertising agency. After completing his degree, he moved to Toronto to seek work at a larger firm. He found that at McLaren McCann, where he handled the Nestle Nutrition USA account.
After a year, Bullock accepted a position at kbs+p, where he was the execution lead for The Keg Steakhouse and Bar, and soon became the account lead on all integrated business for The Keg in 2011. Recognizing his significant success since graduating, Bullock was a Premier’s Award nominee in the recent graduate category in 2011.
Having developed a strong relationship with The Keg executives, Bullock took on the role of Director of Marketing in 2013. He transitioned to several other positions, eventually being promoted to Chief Marketing Officer responsible for the development of brand vision, strategy, planning, and implementation of marketing and sales driving programs.
Bullock has accomplished great career success in his 15 years since graduating from Fleming. He remembers his time at Fleming with fondness and credits the teachers for putting him on the marketing path early on in his schooling.
