Fleming College and St. Lawrence College Integration

Updates and FAQs

Fleming College and St. Lawrence College have agreed to integrate as equals and have begun the process to build a stronger institution with broader access to education and training across both regions.

By bringing the two colleges together, this integration will create greater opportunities for students, strengthen institutional capacity and sustainability, and allow for even better alignment with labour force demand.

Fleming College and St. Lawrence College will continue to operate under their existing names and brands. Students enrolled in each respective college will continue to receive diplomas and certificates from their home college.

The integration is not intended to change the identity of either college, and students will continue to learn at Fleming College and St. Lawrence College campuses. However, they will soon be able to benefit from the strengths of a larger institution.

Why the colleges are integrating

This integration is being undertaken to:

  • Strengthen long-term sustainability and institutional capacity
  • Improve alignment with regional labour market and employer needs

What happens next?
