PETERBOROUGH, ON – (October 15, 2026) – As part of the planned integration between Fleming College and St. Lawrence College (SLC), the colleges are creating new program intakes for the 2027-28 academic year. The new offerings will expand access to in-demand education and training for students in Peterborough and the communities Fleming serves, while creating additional options for students across both colleges.

Through this work, Fleming will introduce four SLC programs, providing more opportunities for students to access in-demand training connected to workforce and industry needs.

The following SLC programs will be offered at Fleming College:

At the same time, the following Fleming programs will be offered at SLC:

Together, the new program intakes will give students greater access to programs from both colleges while helping respond to workforce needs in the communities they serve. They are another step in the colleges’ work toward creating a stronger, more sustainable integrated institution that will continue to serve students, employers and communities.

“The addition of these programs at Fleming is a tangible example of how integration can create new opportunities for students and respond to the needs of our communities,” said Dr. Theresa Knott, Interim President of Fleming College. “Bringing new programming to Fleming will give students more options to pursue their education closer to home, while sharing Fleming programs with SLC will create additional opportunities for students in the communities it serves. Together, these offerings will help both colleges respond to local workforce needs.”

Details on campus locations, delivery models, admission requirements and deadlines, and other program information can be found on each college’s website and through the Ontario College Application Service (OCAS).

As work on the integration progresses, Fleming and SLC continue to invite students, employees, alumni, community members and industry partners to provide input.
