Glassblowing - Lighting & Glass

Build new glassblowing skills or expand your existing experience while developing an understanding of lighting design for handblown glass. Explore glass-forming techniques and the design considerations involved in creating functional lighting, along with the range of components available to transform your glasswork into finished light fixtures. The course covers low-voltage LED systems using Class 2?compliant components and certification-ready assembly methods. You will learn how to wire and solder your own components, as well as how to repurpose pre-assembled, approved lighting elements. Soldering equipment will be provided, with hands-on instruction to build confidence and practical skills.
