Fibre Arts - Natural Dyeing for Beginners and Beyond Workshop
Course Code: ARTS2969
Arrive with a love of colour and leave with self-striping yarn ready to knit a pair of socks, or to weave, crochet, or knit a shawl. You will explore colour and pattern through discussions of design, along with the ethics and legality of foraging for natural dyes. The course includes a trip outdoors to investigate local dye possibilities and hands-on instruction in creating a reusable blank-a knitted fabric designed to be easily unravelled and replicated at home.
