The Ontario Spinners' Certificate Program is a six-level program developed by the Education Committee of the Ontario Handweavers and Spinners. Haliburton School of Art + Design will be offering Level V. It is our desire to continue this program to the next level if registration levels warrant it.
Prerequisites: Participants are required to have successfully completed ARTS586 OHS Spinners Certificate Program - Level IV.
Level V: In addition to class time, this course will require assignments to be completed and mailed to instructors over the following six months for OHS certification. Course of Study: Flax, synthetic dyes for cellulose fibres (theory only), cotton, synthetic and reconstituted fibres, and fibre identification.

Some courses require additional textbooks and/or materials. Please visit your campus bookstore in-person or online: Peterborough Bookstore or Lindsay Bookstore.
