Designed for artists and makers who want to sell their work, this course emphasizes learning how to take high-quality photographs to professionally document your creations. You will also cover essential small business topics, including telling your story, choosing and applying for art and craft markets and group exhibitions, pricing strategies, selling in person versus consignment, effective display of work for sale, creating marketing materials, online marketing strategies, and building relationships with clients and other businesses. Participants will leave with professional images suitable for applications and promotion, along with a strong foundation for launching a creative small business. Ideal for jewellers, ceramic artists, glass artists, fibre artists, sculptors, woodworkers, metalsmiths, fashion designers, and painters.
