Prepare for the Contract Faculty Job Fair

What we Need From You Before the Event

If this is the first time you are applying to a position at Fleming, you will be prompted to register with the website. If you have applied previously you can login with your credentials.

Academic area of interest

If you are interested in multiple schools you only need to login once but you will need to submit a separate application to each academic school.

Online applications will be not be reviewed until after the job fair, so those you meet at the job fair will not have seen your resume in advance.

Don't forget to bring multiple copies of your resume!

Important Information to Prepare you for the Event

Arrival and Parking

There will be complimentary parking provided. When you check in at the registration desk when you arrive you will be required to validate your vehicle by providing us with your license plate number.

Sutherland Campus (Peterborough)

Enter the campus at 599 Brealey Drive. The Spruce parking lot entrance is the very first parking lot on the left; directly in front of the KTTC building. The KTTC building is marked as building "D". Additional complimentary parking will also be available in the Oak, Aspen or Ash lots.

Frost Campus (Lindsay)

If you access the campus via Albert Street follow the road along to Lot A or Lot B, which are the parking lots closest to the main entrance. If you access the campus from Auk's Trail Road continue past the Recreation Centre and to find Lot A and Lot B.

Registration and Interview Logistics

Upon arrival you will be greeted by Fleming folks at the registration table to check you in for the event. You will then be asked to sign up for interview times, on a first come first served basis, to each academic area of interest (a maximum of three academic areas).
You will be meeting with the Academic Chair(s), 'speed-dating' style. This means it will be informal and conversational in nature. You will be asked to summarize yourself and broadcast your talents in 2 minutes or less. The Chair will then follow up with specific questions. Should you make a good first impression you will be contacted to move forward onto next steps in our recruitment process after the event.

Other Items to be Aware of:

There will be snacks and refreshments provided
HR representatives will be present at an info table to answer questions
Guided campus tours will be offered periodically throughout the evening
