Whether you’re with us for the first time or returning after some time away, here’s everything you need to know to start your semester strong.
KICK OFF YOUR SEMESTER AT WINTER ORIENTATION
Winter Orientation is your opportunity to get comfortable on campus before classes officially begin. Each campus has its own schedule packed with helpful activities and fun ways to meet people.
Three Reasons Why You Should Attend
- Get to know your campus: Tour classrooms, labs, student spaces, and services so you’re not scrambling on your first day.
- Meet your classmates and faculty: Orientation is one of the easiest ways to make new connections and meet the people you’ll be with this semester.
- Discover student essentials: Learn how to navigate the myCampus portal and use key tools like D2L and your student email.

Once Orientation is done support doesn’t end there. Fleming offers a wide range of services available any time you need them, whether it’s Week 1 or Week 14.

Student Services Fair
Discover the student supports and services available to you at our Student Services Fair! Meet the teams behind tutoring, wellness, tech support, career services, and more all in one place. This is the easiest way to learn where to go when you need help throughout the semester.
- Sutherland Campus: Wednesday, January 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Main Foyer
- Frost Campus: Thursday, January 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Discovery Trail
- Haliburton Campus: Tuesday, January 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Great Hall
