Fleming College establishes Student Help Line to offer additional support and responsiveness to students during COVID-19 outbreak

Peterborough ON – (March 30, 2020) Fleming College has established a Student Help Line to provide students immediate virtual support during these unprecedented times. Students will be connected with a Fleming employee who will triage questions, provide support, and service referrals during a time when students and staff no longer have access to college campuses.

The Student Help Line is available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Students can reach the Student Help Line by phone at 1-866-341-3485 or by email at studenthelpline@flemingcollege.ca.

For students who need a listening ear during these uncertain times, Fleming College will host two virtual student drop-in sessions to share experiences and concerns during the outbreak. Drop-in sessions will be hosted with Sandra Dupret, Vice President, Student Experience and Julie Middleton, Director of Counselling and Accessible Education Services. The drop-in sessions will occur:

  • Tuesday, March 31, 2020 from 11 – 11:40 a.m.
  • Wednesday, April 1, 2020 from 11 – 11:40 a.m.
