College comes with expenses, and financial support can make a difference. That’s why Fleming College students are encouraged to explore the many bursaries, awards, and scholarships that may be available to them.

For Fall 2026, bursary applications open September 21, 2026 for all programs except Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO), which opens on September 28, 2026.

Each year, approximately $2 million is available for bursaries, awards, and scholarships at Fleming College. Funding comes from several sources, including a portion of tuition fees allocated to the Financial Need Bursary Program and donor funding made possible through Fleming College’s Advancement and External Relations Department.

Not sure whether you qualify? Don’t count yourself out! One application could connect you with financial support to help with the costs of your education.

What are bursaries?

Bursaries provide financial assistance to eligible students and can help make the costs associated with attending college more manageable.

Fleming offers the Financial Need Bursary as well as numerous donor-funded bursaries. Eligibility varies depending on the funding opportunity.

Who should apply?

Registered students with an active timetable can apply for bursaries administered by Fleming College through a single online bursary application.

This means you don’t need to submit a separate application for every college-administered bursary or scholarship. By completing the online application, you’ll be considered for all the financial aid opportunities you are eligible for.

Eligibility differs for domestic and international students. The Financial Need Bursary and donor bursaries are available to domestic students only. International students are eligible for select donor bursaries and will be contacted if they are selected or if additional information is required.

How do I apply?

Applications open September 21, 2026.

To apply:

  • Log in to myCampus, Fleming’s student portal.
  • Go to the Student Centre section.
  • Select the Apply Now! button to open the online bursary application.

Complete and submit your application by the deadline.

The Apply Now! button will open the application if you have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) on file with the College.

Application opens for all programs (except HEO): September 21, 2026
Application deadline: October 5, 2026

Application opens for HEO: September 28, 2026
Application deadline: October 13, 2026

Bursary applications are not evaluated until after the application deadline. If you miss the application period for your program, your next opportunity to apply will be the following semester.

What should I have ready?

Before applications open, take a moment to make sure your student information is up to date.

Most importantly, you must have a valid SIN on file to access the online bursary application.

If you do not have a valid SIN on file, you will need to provide proof of your SIN, such as a government-issued document showing your name and SIN, along with government-issued photo identification to the Registrar’s Office so your student record can be updated.

Taking care of this before you apply can help make the application process easier.
