michaelaMichaela D’Angelantonio, Business Administration – Human Resources Management (Class of 2016), shares her Fleming College success story:

“I am a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at SGS Canada Inc. My role is to provide support and assistance to two of our business lines in regards to recruitment and selection. I manage requisitions, find suitable candidates, pre-screen approved candidates, arrange interviews, execute offer letters and new hire paperwork, and coordinate their first day on the job. Every day presents a learning curve that I get to overcome, because SGS is a very broad company and the learning never stops.

SGS is where I completed my Fleming program co-op hours. Finding a job is all about connections, networking, and not treating your placement as ‘just a place to get your co-op hours.’ If you show your dedication and hard work, a job just might come out of it!

My experience at Fleming College was great—challenging at times, but great. I like how you not only get credits in Human Resources-related courses, but all Business courses as well, which makes it easier for students to bridge and specialize in the diploma they desire.

I made great relationships at Fleming that I will keep forever, and I grew so much as a person while I was there.”

The Human Resources Management program will provide you with the skills required to optimize the potential of employees, while maximizing your organization’s effectiveness.
