The Masonic Foundation of Ontario Bursary

Estimated Value: $855.00
1 available in the Fall semester

The Masonic Foundation of Ontario was established in 1964 by an act of the Ontario Legislature. In 1965 an annual bursary fund was established as the first charitable outreach program of the foundation. In 2012 this program was replaced with a plan to establish an endowed bursary fund in each of the community colleges with the province. A budget of $100,000.00 per year has been provided to be distributed between four schools until an endowed fund exists in all schools. We encourage each school to participate in a matching program to the best of their ability thus increasing the invested funds for the future. We are pleased that Fleming College is able to participate in this program.

Criteria for Eligibility of Student for Award:

Eligibility for this award will be based on the following criteria:

- Awarded to a student that is a child of a Fleming College alumni (one annually)

- Awarded to a student that can demonstrate a financial need for the bursary.

Applying is Easy

Registered students with an active timetable are able to apply for all bursaries that are administered by the college though our single on-line bursary application.

By completing this application, you will be considered for all college-administered bursaries and scholarships for which you are eligible. To apply, log into myCampus (the student portal), and go to the Student Centre section. The Apply Now! button will open the on-line application as long as you have a valid SIN on file. If you do not have a valid SIN on file, you are required to provide proof of SIN (any government issued document with your name and SIN) and government issued photo-id at the Registrar's Office so your record may be updated. Please note that bursary applications will not be evaluated until after the application deadline date.
