Northumberland Road Builders Association Bursary

This fund was established by the Donor to assist Sir Sandford Fleming College of the Applied Arts and Technology (the "College") students.

The Northumberland Road Builders Association (NRBA) is a not-for-profit organization compromised of contractors, suppliers, and local area municipal staff representatives. 

The mandate of the NRBA is to promote good relations in the road building and construction industry within the district of the county of Northumberland.

As a result of the successful AORS Trade Show hosted in the County of Northumberland in 2010, the members of the NRBA were pleased to make available the funds generated by the 2010 Trade Show in order to create an opportunity for students from the County of Northumberland region to access a bursary award to assist in supporting full-time students at Fleming College. 

 

Awarded to a domestic full-time student registered in one of the following programs: Trades Fundamentals, Heavy Equipment Operator, Heavy Equipment Techniques Co-op, Resources Drilling Technician (Optional Co-op), Earth Resources Technician, Co-op, Geographic Information Systems - Applications Specialist, Geographic Information Systems, Cartographic Specialist, or Blasting Techniques and, demonstrates financial need.

* Student must have resided in Ontario for twelve months prior to beginning their post-secondary studies.

Registered students with an active timetable are able to apply for all bursaries that are administered by the college though our single on-line bursary application.

By completing this application, you will be considered for all college-administered bursaries and scholarships for which you are eligible. To apply, log into myCampus (the student portal), and go to the Student Centre section. The Apply Now! button will open the on-line application as long as you have a valid SIN on file. If you do not have a valid SIN on file, you are required to provide proof of SIN (any government issued document with your name and SIN) and government issued photo-id at the Registrar's Office so your record may be updated. Please note that bursary applications will not be evaluated until after the application deadline date.
