Scholarships and Bursaries
This bursary has been established by Zone F of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters in honour of Jack O'Dette (1917-2005) an M.Sc. graduate of Queen's University who contributed to conservation education and projects for over 57 years. He received many awards for his efforts and dedication to the conservation movement, in particular, the Order of Canada.
Awarded to a full-time domestic student enrolled in the 2nd year of one of the following programs: Arboriculture, Earth Resource Technician, Ecological Restoration, Ecosystem Management Technician/Technology, Fish and Wildlife Technology/Technician, Geographic Information Systems - Cartographic or Applications Specialist, Outdoor Adventure Skills, Urban Forestry or Urban Forestry Technician - who has a GPA of 3.6 or higher and demonstrates financial need.
* Student must have resided in Ontario for twelve months prior to beginning their post-secondary studies.
