Scholarships and Bursaries
This academic award has been established by Diana Girdler to celebrate the accomplishments of her son Dustin Kinzett, who overcame significant obstacles, and with the support of his family and the Forestry Program Team, graduated with honours, while balancing the priorities of studies and raising a young family. This award will be presented to a student who best demonstrates values that Dustin shares; determination and perseverance to overcome significant challenges, a passion for forestry and the natural world to make it a better place for generations to come.
Awarded to a graduating student of the Forestry Technician Program. The student will have overcome significant obstacles with unwavering determination and perseverance to complete the program. This deserving student will share a passion for forestry, be a leader with the ability to inspire colleagues to do their best, possess a love of the natural world to make it a better place for generations to come.
