Zachary Williams

Zachary Williams is an artist based in Haliburton. He blends traditional and digital mediums to create his artworks. Holding a Visual and Creative Arts Diploma, Integrated Design Diploma, and Certificate in Digital Image Design, Zack now works within the Centre for Making at Haliburton School of Art + Design, helping students and local artists bring their creative visions to life. In his work he uses 3D printers, laser cutters, and various other tools. His work often involves hand drawn illustrations incorporated into digital works which are laser burned into various surfaces. Along with his illustrative works, he also works in 3D space. He first designs his sculptures within a 3D environment before rendering and starting production on the physical artwork. This is accomplished through 3D printing and laser cutting pieces which are assembled into the larger work.
