Liz Menard

Liz Menard is a printmaker, book artist and arts educator. Liz?s work reflects her curiosity about our relationship to nature, how it shapes our sense of place and reflects us as a society and as individuals. Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions across Canada the US, Europe and Asia. It is held in public, private and corporate collections. Artist Residencies include: Paper & Book Intensive (Ox-Bow School of the Arts, Michigan), Playa, (Oregon), Atelier Circulaire (Montreal), Engramme (Quebec City) and Capileira (Spain). Liz was awarded the Nick Novak Fellowship and Hexagon Special Project Fellowship (Open Studio, Toronto). Liz?s work has received many awards including Toronto Outdoor Art (Best in Printmaking) and Ontario Society of Artist (Best in Show and Juror?s Choice). Liz received two First Place Awards in the Quest National Juried Exhibition and Grow- Op (Gladstone Hotel) for her print-based installation Roosting Monarchs.
