Courtney Fleming

Courtney Fleming, a costume artist from a Harley Ontario, studied at many institutions including Fanshawe College, Off the Wall Stratford Artist Alliance, and Fleming College's, Haliburton School of Art & Design. Courtney has always been fascinated by the fashion industry and started developing her craft in high school as she experienced the world of theatre! Courtney takes her work to the stage and camera by exploring the story telling and history behind each theatre director's vision. As an artist, Courtney has led costume teams and engaged in the exploration of wigs, shoemaking, dyeing, millinery, with her specialty being the intricate processes of pattern making and sewing as she applies her creativity into her work. Courtney also commissions both paint and dry medium artwork in her spare time, which has complemented her theatre career with her colour matching and creative techniques.
