Bethany Le Blonc

Bethany Le Blonc is an interdisciplinary artist from small-town Ontario currently living and working in Quebec. She is a self-taught painter whose main practice is in detailed, realistic paintings. Primarily using oil paint in thin smooth layers, she paints on a small scale. Bethany also works with found objects and materials and has a separate practice in fibre art and natural dyeing. She has shown in various settings in Toronto, Peterborough and Orillia, including the Red Head Gallery, Propeller Gallery, and Artspace. She received two Explore and Create grants from the Canada Council for the Arts since 2021. Bethany is a graduate of the Visual and Creative Arts Diploma with a certificate in Fibre Arts from Haliburton School of Art + Design.
