Stone Carving Techniques

This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Beginners will be guided through the fundamentals of reductive sculpting and three- dimensional thinking with hands-on carving techniques using a variety of tools and insights into stone-carving traditions. During the course, you will explore essential topics such as safe studio practices and sourcing materials and tools, making it an excellent foundation for anyone interested in mastering the craft of stone sculpture.
