Glassblowing - Open Studio

This Open Studio has been designated as an intermediate/advanced level. Open Studios are only staffed with a studio technologist, fostering an open space for you to create without instruction. For health and safety reasons, an intermediate level of knowledge is required to work independently with studio equipment and materials.
This is an opportunity for graduates of our glassblowing certificate program or individuals with glassblowing experience to have access to the hot shop for independent open studio time. With 32 hours of studio time, participants will have access to the equipment and including molten furnace glass only, as well as a studio technologist for questions and guidance. Participants are encouraged to explore individual subject matter and style in an unstructured format.
Note: Colour glass, lampworking glass or other studio consumable materials are not included.
