Glassblowing - From Concept to Form

Course Code: ARTS2959

This course offers experienced glassblowers the opportunity to bring long-considered ideas and personal projects to life. You will refine designs, troubleshoot technical challenges, and expand your vocabulary of form in the hot shop. The class is project-based and design-focused, allowing you to pursue individual goals, whether functional vessels such as low bowls, specific colour applications, or more experimental sculptural work. You will receive one-on-one support to strengthen both conceptual development and technical execution. You should be confident working independently and prepared to bring sketches, concepts, or project ideas to explore. By the end of the course, you will have advanced your design skills, strengthened technical control, and produced finished works that reflect your personal vision.
