Enrich your typing skills to suit a medical environment by incorporating medical keyboarding, advanced keyboarding, medical language, grammatical and office skills. Work with case histories, a variety of medical reports, technical terminology and timed writings. Targeted exercises will increase your knowledge of terms you will encounter on the job and will improve your keyboarding speed and accuracy. A brief introduction to Medical Transcription is included with this course. You must have an existing typing speed of 25 to 30 words per minute. You will receive information about purchasing your course manual at the beginning of the course.
