As the snow begins to settle across the Haliburton Highlands, Fleming College’s Haliburton School of Art + Design (HSAD) is inviting you to kick off the holidays with us! Whether you’re a veteran creator or simply celebrating the season, our winter workshops offer an escape into craft.

Get Into the Holiday Spirit with a Festive Workshop

• Fibre Arts – Holiday Woolly Pine Tree Workshop (Dec 6)

Join Us at the One Of A Kind Show

Looking for even more creative inspiration? Visit us at the One Of A Kind Show at the Enercare Centre in Toronto.

Join us on Friday, November 28 in the Creative Lounge for a hands-on, make-and-take experience. Led by HSAD faculty member Yvonne Iten-Scott, participants will use beautiful wool fabric to stitch a woolly tree topped with a wooden star and a woolly wreath with a bow. Workshops will begin at 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 6 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. This special session is open only to One Of A Kind Show ticket holders.

Also, don’t miss the Made by Hand, Shaped by Experience session on November 28 at 1 p.m. on the Main Stage. During this session, HSAD Dean Xavier Massé will speak with alumni about art, craft, and the path to a creative life.
