Mike Campbell Memorial Ball Hockey Tournament

The Sporting Goods Business program at Fleming College will is pleased to announce the 7th annual Mike Campbell Memorial Ball Hockey Tournament, which will take place on Saturday, April 6 at the Sutherland Campus.

The tournament is held in memory of Sporting Goods Business student Mike Campbell. The event raises money and awareness for Testicular Cancer Canada (www.testicularcancercanada.ca) in Mike’s honour. In six years, close to $16,000 has been raised through the event. Students in the Sporting Goods program organize the tournament each year, with the assistance of Program Coordinator Charlie McGee.

With nine teams already registered, organizers would like to have a total of 18 teams playing in the tournament. The entry fee is $75 per team (teams of six) and teams must provide two soft orange ball hockey balls. The tournament will be held in the Residence parking lot. If you are interested in entering a team or need more information, please contact Charlie McGee by email at cmcgee@flemingc.on.ca.

Just a note: Fleming’s spring Open House is happening the same day and the Steele Centre will be open with live music.
