If you’re joining us this fall at the Haliburton School of Art + Design (HSAD), get ready for a semester like no other. From the vibrant colours of the surrounding forest to the energy of a community built on creativity, fall in Haliburton is truly something special, and now, you can live right in the heart of it. 

Our on-campus residence, which opened in 2025, offers the perfect home base for students enrolled in full-time programs at the HSAD. Located beside the Haliburton Sculpture Forest in Glebe Park and just steps from our studios, the residence is designed to help you settle in, focus on your craft, and feel connected from day one.

Imagine this: you roll out of bed and walk to class through a forest filled with art. On your way, you grab coffee with your roommates and then head for an early morning in the studio. In the evening, you hang out with fellow artists, brainstorming and working on your portfolio, or simply relaxing with a good book and a view of Head Lake.  

When you live on campus, your experience at HSAD becomes even more immersive, convenient, and memorable.

• One- and two-bedroom units with shared kitchenette and bathroom

Important Info for Fall 2025 applicants 

Online registration for the Haliburton Residence is available now. Space is limited, and rooms are being offered on a first-come, first-served basis to full-time students.
