Fleming College

 Haliburton ON – (March 18, 2014) – Spend a day participating, celebrating and supporting the Haliburton School of The Arts through the Live Art Here fundraiser on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Haliburton Campus of Fleming College.

It’s a full day of immersion in the arts – the event includes breakfast, lunch, wine reception, art demonstrations, silent auction, and participation in an arts workshop.

The workshops are taught by expert artists and cover a variety of media:

– Sculpting from the Model: Torso with Paul Portelli

– Sculpted Silver Jewellery with Sophia Tink

– Sterling Silver Bracelet with Susan Watson Ellis

– Digital Photography with Rob Stimpson

– Carbon/Charcoal Drawing and Painting with Marta Scythes

– Acrylic Painting with Passion and Purpose in the Landscape with John Anderson

– Stained Glass Sun-catcher with Wendy Ladurantaye

Proceeds from this event will provide bursaries and enhance the studio experience of students attending the Haliburton School of The Arts.
