Haliburton School of Art + Design Hosts Spring Open House
Fleming College’s Haliburton School of Art + Design is opening its doors to prospective students from across Ontario as the Spring Open House returns to its picturesque campus on April 15.
HSAD’s red doors are open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The skilled artisans and instructors who teach the many programs and workshops at HSAD will be on hand to answer questions and talk about their craft.
This summer and fall HSAD is offering 55 new courses and workshops. With 224 programs for adults, kids, beginners and experienced artists, there is something for everyone at HSAD.
Visitors can check out our spacious studios while taking in a ceramics, glass blowing or fibre arts demonstration. Guests are encouraged to check out the Photo Arts Dark Room to get a feel for the hands-on experience HSAD offers.
All visitors are encouraged to wander the grounds, enjoy the outdoor trails surrounding the school and explore the Sculpture Forest.
Canoe FM will be onsite during the day. Parking during Open House is free.
