Fleming College launches ‘Feed to Succeed’ campaign on Giving Tuesday
Peterborough ON – (November 27, 2018) – Fleming College is pleased to announce the launch of its ‘Feed to Succeed’ campaign for students on Giving Tuesday.
The ‘Feed to Succeed’ campaign is an initiative to provide the Fleming community with an opportunity to come together and make a small difference for Fleming students. Alumni, staff, retirees and community partners are asked to make a small donation of $20 that will be used to provide Healthy Care Packs to Fleming students. Every $20 will provide four healthy snack and drink care packages for students in the New Year.
In addition to the Healthy Care Pack, donors can include a message of encouragement that will be printed and attached to the front of each care package.
To double the impact, Suzanne Hooke, Fleming College Professor, School of General Arts & Sciences, has committed to matching all gifts, dollar for dollar, for the first $1,000 raised.
Giving Tuesday is a movement that began in 2012 to create an international day of charitable giving at the beginning of the holiday season.
