Fleming College introduces Spotlight Awards to recognize employee excellence
Peterborough ON – (June 7, 2021) – The unpredictable challenges over the past year have tested everyone’s mettle and resilience. As we collectively emerge from the dark days of the pandemic and look ahead to brighter times, Fleming recognizes and appreciates the attitude and excellence displayed by College employees.
During the inaugural Spotlight Awards ceremony hosted on June 3rd, award recipients were celebrated for their work and contributions to the Fleming community. More than 80 nominations were put forward by colleagues in five categories to shine a spotlight on the achievements of those employees who particularly inspire and motivate others, and who contribute to a culture where innovative and inclusive ideas and values are respected by all.
“As the President, I feel fortunate to have such a community of talented and dedicated employees at Fleming. The last year has required further adaptability and innovation, and I couldn’t be more proud of how everyone has responded. Although there were many worthy nominees for the Spotlight Awards, a hearty congratulations and thanks to this year’s deserving recipients,” said Fleming College President Maureen Adamson.
