Fleming College hosts Vaccination Pop-Up Clinic

Published

Peterborough ON – (February 15, 2022) – Fleming College continues to keep the health and safety of the community a top priority and hosted a pop-up vaccination clinic at its Sutherland Campus on Monday, Feb. 14. In partnership with Peterborough Public Health, Fleming offered vaccine appointments to students, employees, and contract workers.

“Throughout the pandemic, every decision we have made at Fleming has been anchored in safety and hosting a vaccination clinic is a strong example of our commitment to the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve,” said Fleming College President Maureen Adamson. “We are very grateful to Peterborough Public Health for supporting the clinic and assisting Fleming’s Health Services to ensure we offered as many vaccines to our Fleming community as possible.”

The College requires students, employees and contract workers to be fully vaccinated under provincial guidelines (two vaccine doses) in order to visit any Fleming facility. It remains the College’s strong belief that everyone should get a booster shot as early as possible.

“Thank you to those who are doing their part to keep our community safe. We all have a role to play when it comes to the health of our family, our friends and our loved ones,” continued Adamson.
