Peterborough ON – (September 17, 2019) Fleming College kicked off Pride Week with the ceremonial raising of the Pride Flag at Sutherland Campus on Monday, Sept. 16.

Students, faculty and staff gathered outside to celebrate diversity and inclusion on campus by raising the Pride Flag for the first time in the College’s history.

“This was a great opportunity to reinforce the vital commitment that Fleming is making to be a welcoming place for all,” said Fleming College President Maureen Adamson. “We were pleased to have many members of the broader community join us to share in our pledge as we raised the pride flag and held a series of opening celebrations for Pride Week.
