Fleming College’s 2025 convocation was more than just a ceremony, it was a celebration of growth, resilience, and the transformative power of education. Held across campuses and celebrated online, the 2025 Fleming College graduation invited students, families, faculty, and the broader community to reflect on the moments that shaped the Class of 2025. 

As part of the celebration, we launched a special convocation giveaway, asking students to share their biggest takeaways from their time at Fleming. What we received in return was more than just contest entries, we were gifted honest, heartfelt reflections that capture what it truly means to be a Fleming grad. 

Lessons That Last a Lifetime 

From Early Childhood Education to Biotechnology, graduates shared how their time at Fleming College helped shape who they are today. Many emphasised the value of the practical learning they experienced, the confidence they gained, and the technical skills that directly translated to meaningful careers.  

“I gained a lot of confidence, learnings and loving my job.” 

“The program enhanced my skills in crisis intervention, active listening, and advocacy.” 

“I learned how to support individuals with empathy, professionalism, and respect.” 

Discovering Purpose and Passion

“My biggest takeaway was finding out this is the career for me.” 

“I didn’t know much about biotechnology going into it, but now I’ve developed a deep passion for it after Fleming.” 

“I’ve gained the confidence to step into the field and make a difference in people’s lives.”
