Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC)

Admission Requirements

Students must be 18 years of age or older and permanent residents or convention refugees.

Registration

Interested students should contact the New Canadians Centre to arrange an appointment with a Settlement Counsellor. Students will then be referred to a Language Assessor for a free language test to determine their English level.

Classes

The Fleming College LINC program offers the flexibility you need to learn English. We have morning, afternoon, and evening classes. In-person and online study options are available. Our year-round, continuous intake classes are offered for Levels 1 to 4 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks.

In-person classes are offered at Peterborough Square.

Financial Assistance

LINC students may be eligible for assistance with childcare or monthly bus passes.
