KPI Graduate Outcomes/Satisfaction Survey

What are Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)?

  • A province-wide accountability tool
  • A joint effort of Ontario's community colleges and the provincial government
  • A method of evaluating programs, services and experiences at college
  • Include measures of graduate satisfaction and employment, employer satisfaction and graduation rate

What is the KPI Graduate Outcomes/ Satisfaction Survey?

6 months after you finish your Fleming program you’ll be contacted by Forum Research, an independent research firm hired by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU), to comment on your satisfaction as a Fleming graduate and your career success or further education by completing the College Graduate Outcomes Survey.

This is a province-wide survey of ALL Ontario college graduates that helps to measure program quality and graduate outcomes.

If you are working, you’ll be asked for permission to contact your direct supervisor for the Employer Satisfaction Survey. The purpose of this survey is to assess the performance of the college in preparing you for employment - it is not an assessment of your performance. Your employer will not be contacted without your consent

What is the information collected used for?

All information collected is confidential. The information collected from graduates will be used by the college to learn about the educational and employment experiences of our graduates after program completion.

The aggregated information collected from graduates will also be used by the MCU to produce annual employment profiles and report on the performance of colleges.

What do I need to do?

We encourage you to complete the survey when you receive the email, text, or call from Forum Research. Please ensure that you keep your contact information up-to-date with the college.

What's in it for me?

Not only will your feedback help to shape the future direction of the college and ensure that we continue to support the success of our graduates, you will receive a $5 e-gift card of your choice, PLUS a chance to win a $250 Amazon.ca e-gift card, just by completing the survey!

As per an agreement with the MCU, each college is required to provide Forum Research Inc. with a list of graduates (including contact information) for each graduating term for the purpose of surveying graduates. Please contact Jason Dennison (705-749-5530 ext. 1494), Director, Business Intelligence and Analytical Services, if you have any questions.
