Fleming Food Security Fund
Food insecurity is a growing concern among Fleming College students. With the rising cost of living, students are often forced to choose between paying rent and buying fresh and healthy groceries.
It is all too common for students to wonder where their next meal may come from. Food insecurity negatively influences students’ academic performance through compromised concentration, reduced class and exam attendance, and adverse impacts on physical, mental, and social well-being.
The Fleming Food Security Fund is proudly powered by the Fleming Student Administrative Council (SAC), who is matching gifts to this Fund annually up to $10,000. Your gift today will support food program initiatives on campus including a student emergency food bank and a food box program.
